The VMI / PEELLE integrated control system incorporates the Peelle freight door controller into the VMI Hydraulic elevator control panel. This saves time and money for the elevator contractor.

   

Advantages:

  • Can be ordered for the latest edition of the ANSI A17.1 code.
  • One panel to mount and wire reduces field time and saves space in the machine room
  • 1 set of schematics simplifies the wiring process and reduces the potential for field wiring mistakes
  • Cost savings on the purchase price (1 controller versus 2)
  • Requires only one disconnect in the elevator machine room
  • On-board elevator diagnostic tool logs faults that pertain to the door functions along with the time and date that the fault occured
  • 8-16 hours of field labor savings

Applications:

  • Freight Mods where the elevator is retained and only the elevator controller and doors are being upgraded.
  • Existing hydraulic freight elevators with Peelle doors and gates
  • New freight elevators provided by Minnesota Elevator, Inc.

 

 

 

PEELLE Door Status LED's (located on the Peelle door board)

  • 24V ON = the 24Vdc power to the Peelle board is good
  • ZNS (zone switch) ON = the elevator is at a floor with a zone interlock contact made
  • DOL (door open limit) ON = the hoistway door is on the open limit switch
  • DCL (door close limit) ON = the hoistway door is on the close limit switch
  • GOL (gate oppen limit) ON = the car gate is on the open limit switch
  • GCL (gate close limit) ON = the car gate is on the close limit switch
  • GOFL (gate open final limit) ON = the car gate is on the final limit switch
  • DOFL (door open final limit) ON = the hoistway door is on the final limit switch
  • HTB (heart beat) = flashing green indicates the board is communicating with the main CPU
